The poll for opinion submission for the Baronage of River Haven opens on 05 August 2026 and will remain open until 19 August 2026. During that period members, non-member participants in the Barony of River Haven and members of the greater populace of Lochac are invited to submit opinion and commentary of their preferences for the succession.

Commentary can be submitted from the River Haven Baronial website using the online tool provided. If you have difficulties accessing that, or do not wish to use that method, please contact the Baronial succession co-ordinator (Count Stephen) either by email (davidrhunt@hotmail.com) or through Facebook messenger.

In the interests of making an informed decision, written commentary about each set of candidates is of great value and should be completed as part of the submission process. I will see and read all the commentary, along with the expressed preferences and use those to prepare a report for the Crown. The only people who will see any of the commentary are the Crown and me, so be honest knowing your words will be held in confidence. Depending on what is said, I may choose to follow up comments directly with submitters in case clarifications are needed.

Following close of the polling period I will prepare and submit a written report and the submissions to the Crown, who will then make their decision. This post poll period may take two weeks or more, but based on previous processes can be decided much sooner than that.
